Step #1: Purchase a domain name
There are many places where you can purchase a domain name. I use GoDaddy and have never had any issues with them. The video link below will show you how to purchase a domain name at GoDaddy and change the nameservers to your Wealthy Affiliate Free hosting account. If you want to use the Wealthy Affiliate free hosting account and the Wealthy Affiliate free website builder Site Rubix, you will first need to purchase a domain name and point the name servers to your Wealthy Affiliate hosting account. This video will take you through the process of: 1. Purchasing a domain 2. Changing the name servers These are the name servers you need if you want to host your domain name at Wealthy Affiliate:
Hint: As you go through the process of purchasing a domain name at GoDaddy there will be other options available to purchase. You do not need to purchase anything else...Just a domain name. Your total cost should be about $10. The only other thing you may consider is Who is privacy protection. Wealthy Affiliate offers hosting free to all members. Just remember...where you purchase the domain name and where you actually upload your pages to are two completely separate things.
